Looks like Jaeschke had a big game against JT (Aaron Russell) in a comeback 5 set win. I wish the Japanese league games would be streamed on volleyballworld Panasonic (15-1)stays in 1st place with a 5 set win over Hiroshima(13-5) Jaeschke 29 points 27 kills 1 ace 1 block. Russell 30 points 26 kills 3 aces 1 block Russell remains in 3rd place as leading scorer in the league and Jaeschke is 9th. TOM AND RON FOR PARIS 2024!!! |

ZAKSA has been going through a lot of injuries this year. They are without Smith and Tavkam in the middle. They are also missing Sliwka. At one point they had to hire another setter because every other setter on the roster was injured. At one point they had to bring a guy up who was playing in the third division to play OH. It really has been a mess.
Now the good news is they get to play Roeselare while Olympiacos has to play Ziraat in the last match. If they can get a more favorable result than Olympiacos, they will qualify. The third-place team in that pool has no chance of qualifying.

A few weeks ago, Milano looked like a team that could hang with any of the Top 4 Italian teams.
Now they look a mess. Poor passing. Tons of service errors. Reggers is struggling. Barely any production out of the 2nd OH spot. Even Catania is performing below standards. It's tough to watch.
They'll probably get swept this Saturday against Perugia in the Coppa Italia semifinals.
