Fresno Pacific Announces Volleyball Coaching Staff Changes - 10/13/2023 1:03:00 PM FRESNO, Calif.-Shauna Felix, a former Fresno State Volleyball player, has been named the interim head volleyball coach for the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds, athletic director Kyle Ferguson announced. "We are thankful and blessed to have Shauna join our staff as the interim head coach," Ferguson said. "While her volleyball expertise is exceptional, we are most excited about her love for Christ and others, which will help guide these women throughout the remainder of the season." Felix, who played for the Bulldogs from 1998-2002 returned to the Valley with her husband, Noel, and their family in 2017. "I'm just excited to help these ladies have a terrific finish to their season," Felix said. "I'm focused on helping make an impact in their lives and I'm most excited to help make an impact for the kingdom of God." Since moving back to Fresno, Felix started her own business, Give Culture, a clothing company that is a lifestyle brand of social consciousness. The brand's focus is to provide positive, inspirational shirts that help share the gospel. Felix also created a non-profit in conjunction with the Center for Community Transformation at Fresno Pacific prior to 2020. Felix's husband, Noel, played basketball at Fresno State and reached the NBA with the Seattle Supersonics in 2006. They live in Fresno with their five children. Carolyn Condit is retiring at the end of the season. OXFORD, Ohio— Miami University volleyball coach Carolyn Condit announced today that she will retire after the 2023 season. Condit, who is in her 40th season leading the RedHawks' program and 44th season as a college head coach, has amassed 781 career wins in her legendary career. She is the longest-tenured current Division I head coach in the nation, and holds a 682-549 record at Miami since taking over the program in 1984. Condit has compiled more career wins than any coach in any sport in the history of Miami Athletics. "My years at Miami have flown by and I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to coach so many bright and talented young women at such a prestigious University. They have impacted my life more than they know," said Condit. "And where education remains the number one priority and doing what is right truly matters, it has been a privilege to work for the many Presidents and Athletic Directors who uphold these high standards year after year. Love and Honor!" Does anyone know what's going on at Washington Adventist? They supposedly hired a new coach in August, but then cancelled all of their matches after announcing a schedule. She seems to have been named as a local club coach and her bio mentions her Washington Adventist position, but I just saw the job opening again....

She seems to have been named as a local club coach and her bio mentions her Washington Adventist position, but I just saw the job opening again.... Most of us probably didn't know Washington Adventist existed, much less know what's going on there.

With Coastal Carolina having a phenomenal year thus far, and Loeswick having Head Coach experience in their beach program.. It's got to be safe to assume that he will have the Interim tag ripped off after the season, right?
