3rd assistant I presume?? No. If you know details you could provide them instead of just saying no. If I remember correctly, the job lists "coordinating recruiting" as a job duty which means first assistant (at least second) in my book, but idk the details. |

Does anyone know if the coach was pushed out or is leaving on his own terms from CSUN? Also heard from a very close-tied source they're pushing out director Price. (Please don't come back to BVC John lmao)

William Jewell is D2 (Missouri) and it looks like they had an interim HC this past season. William Jessup is NAIA (California). I don't know which one is open, but it would make sense for a job being held by an interim HC to be open. Just for the record, the William Jessup women's head coaching job is now also open. Jessup and Coach Shelton parted ways as announced on 12/20/23. Earlier this week, the University also announced the addition of a men's volleyball team to start in 2024-2025, which is when Jessup will officially move from NAIA into NCAA D2. Both head coaching jobs are posted on the Jessup website. |

I’ve kinda expected to hear Tom Hogan’s name there if he is well enough to do it. He’s an alum, an appropriately successful record… I don’t have any insight at all and I don’t know his current condition but it makes sense to me. I can’t see that. He is cancer free and looks great, but has an amazing role with LOVB Volleyball that gives him more time and money than college coaching. And his wife makes more money than he does, so..... |

Miami (OH) has been open since October 31 and the school probably knew earlier that Carolyn was retiring.
Is Miami dragging their feet? Has the job been turned down?
As has been said in the Northwestern thread, disappointing the volleyball position hasn't been a priority for a very solid midwest university. On the surface, this should be a pretty attractive job in a slow hiring cycle.

I do not think Mami is dragging their feet. Even if they knew earlier, probably do not want to post until after season, and Holidays can slow things down.
That being said, candidates have been on campus.
