The sweep is one thing. Losing the first two sets 25-16 and 25-21 is another.
But the killer for me is losing the 3rd and final set 25-14. I didn't watch it, so I don't have any information other than the stats, but I'm stunned Stanford wasn't able to put up a better fight in the elimination set.

Are you talking about her blocking? Yes, she was late in so many blocks. That's nothing new really. Francis is a very good OOS blocker, but when the opposing team is in system she can't close or doesn't make a good read on the one-hitter. |

When was the last time ASU beat Stanford, and was there ever a sweep? B/c that really is a surprising result, even though they are having a great season. ASU is the real deal this year.

Impressive win by ASU -- two sets weren't even close Stanford might want to steal ASU's coach from them because he just schooled Hambly Yup. We're 18-3, might fall to #4 in the nation. Time to fire the coach. |

When was the last time ASU beat Stanford, and was there ever a sweep? B/c that really is a surprising result, even though they are having a great season. ASU is the real deal this year. Probably during Covid year or 2021. Weren't very good years for the Card. Struggled against most everyone. |
