ILL v PUR matches are always crazy.. what a turn around. They thumped us the 1st time and we pulled out a 3-1 win.

Feels like Dave wants to honor Poulter for transferring in to the detriment of team performance. I'm going to try very hard to make this my last post about this, because I feel like a broken record.

Full credit to Illinois. After losing 4 sets to Purdue, they upped their service and block game. They did everything they had to do, even while Terry was having a rough time.
Purdue was very sloppy. Very one-dimensional. Very confident after that 1st set and it cost them.
Lorrin Poulter truly is not the answer. I'd prefer Anderson and all her mistakes than a graduate setter either setting her hitters right into the block or forcing them to take swings from behind their heads because the location is so awful.

Dave needs to realize that Poulter isn’t it. Let Anderson grow and develop, her mistakes are a part of the game. Just a complete collapse from what was a great week.
Onward and hopefully upward.

Great atmosphere tonight. Jordyn Poulter, Beth Prince, and Kylie Bruder were in Huff as well.

Holy Cow, Illinois! Kudos all around. Nice to see the coaches and players still engaged and improving after a real rough first half of the season. Love it!

Well after reading the thread, Purdue was definitely NOT gelling tonight. Purdue is 0-3 today in sports. Thought for sure that Purdue could make an awful day better with a win…football and basketball lost today too. Have to have a short memory and move forward. Get this bad taste out of their mouths.

Love it! agreed! the pieces are finally coming together - but the slow start for Illinois was bizarre considering nearly the entire roster from last year came back. great win for the orange and blue.

Great atmosphere tonight. Jordyn Poulter, Beth Prince, and Kylie Bruder were in Huff as well. Agreed! We also had Sophie Gregus, Michael Ryan, and Ryan Anton in the house! So cool to see our alums back home : )
