NW pulls off the upset. No asterisk. There was no Julia Sangiacomo, this was an upset.

Hill (NU) 12k, .625 eff, 11b Haworth (IU) 50a, 10k, 10d, 5sa did sangiacomo play? her B10 season so far has been "show up, wreck some dreams, go home" lol Generally, no. She seemed to get subbed in a few times (according to livestats she got subbed in at like 13-10 in the 5th) but accumulated no stats.

This was all Northwestern's middles with the occasional help from the pins and Rousseau.

Hill (NU) 12k, .625 eff, 11b Haworth (IU) 50a, 10k, 10d, 5sa If Illinois didn’t crush Indiana tournament dreams, Northwestern might have Indiana has 3 H2H losses to OOC bubble teams, and their only big win opportunity left is Wisconsin. Plus, trojansc, they are now 3-4 in the oh-so-crucial 51-100 wins category.

Plus, trojansc, they are now 3-4 in the oh-so-crucial 51-100 wins category. 51-100 was the most random thing ever, particularly when ignoring that there were better teams with 1-50 wins. Like, Ball State's record from 51-100 was good, but, let's ignore the fact that they had 3 losses from teams ranked worse than 100... *eye roll*

B1G nation will have to come to terms with the idea of only a handful of teams making the tournament this year. Non-conference needs to be much better next year.

Here comes the Big ten middle of the season upsets where everyone ruins each other's chances of making the tourney I mean, Indiana wasn't in position to make the tourney before Big Ten play. They only appeared to be in contention because of the weakness of the mid/bottom and a win over Purdue.

Gotta imagine they’re out right? Yup. I don't see a realistic path for them. I agree they're out today, but "no realistic path" is a bit of an overstatement. I think if they finish 7-1 with a loss to Wisconsin, they'll be squarely on the bubble.

Hill (NU) 12k, .625 eff, 11b Haworth (IU) 50a, 10k, 10d, 5sa Damn! Two double-doubles this week! Does Haworth get Big Ten Player of the Week even though Indiana lost to Illinois and Northwestern?
