Louisville leading in the first 19-12. Cards had a strong start, Miami made a push in the middle, but Louisville seems to be pulling away now

Louisville wins the first set somewhat comfortably 25-19.
First ball contact has been the difference maker so far. Cards are passing very well and they’re doing a great job keeping Miami out of system.

I will never understand why anyone serves Elena Scott lol Tis definitely a mystery. Miami is a strong serving team too, second in the ACC in aces per set. But you immediately neutralize your own threat when you hit your hard serves at one of the best liberos in the country. |

Good sportsmanship between Luper and Carr after Luper hit an overpass pretty hard and it caught Carr’s face. Always nice to see that level of grace and kindness in volleyball.

To the eye test that was a much more competitive set, but a DeBeer ace gives the Cards another 25-19 set win, up 2-0 now.

Miami had a 3 point lead but Cards have put a few good points together to retake the lead, 16-14 in Set 3
