Had to leave at the end of the 3rd set and I wish Youtube TV's dvr function had failed. That is a bad performance in a game you should always be ready for. The older littles are just not good enough and Murr really covered up their floor defense deficiencies. I really hope Londot takes her covid year at OSU, because I hate to see a top 5(?) program player go out like this. Sad to watch, and it looks like I'll be cheering for our former players in the tournament this year.

Watched the game on replay late last night. I have not gotten to watch Ohio State this season and I am sure there is a detailed analysis but this season has to be a huge disappointment. This team should be a tourney team but they are not even going to go .500.. what is going?

Watched the game on replay late last night. I have not gotten to watch Ohio State this season and I am sure there is a detailed analysis but this season has to be a huge disappointment. This team should be a tourney team but they are not even going to go .500.. what is going? Should they? They had a ton of turnover this year, with only a couple of bonafides weapons, right? |

I think they have enough weapons? They have Londot and Rader as well as this supposed really good recruiting class. Other teams have done it. First one that comes to mind is Baylor last year, they made a sweet sixteen. I am not saying they should be amazing but not being .500 is concerning. |

Lost Murr/Mac/Powell/Moore/Gonzales. Got nothing in transfer portal except Gibson after Sarah White (only experienced setter) left at end of spring. Tuman is great player but I think her injury set her back.
Freshman Egan gets hurt - other freshman are going to be really good but I doubt anyone expected them to carry this team past the best in conference. Glaring weakness (everyone has seen it since spring) is defense. If anything JFO should have replaced Murr with an experienced DS/libero b/c that has been behind so many issues this season.
But still - its a rebuild, they will surprise some and be surprised by others. Sunday proved that.
