As we saw against Nebraska, Purdue can play up to competition, just as much as they can play down the next match.
I expect that this will be competitive, but I do think Purdue has to rest on more than Hudson and Chicoine to do so. They aren't enough. Raven, and especially Heaney are really important in this match. Andersen has to maintain composure for the boilermakers to have a real chance.
We will see if the improvement the badgers showed over the last few matches back in the 6-2 is going to hold.

Sheffield
Defense against Minn was great. Playing with range, extending rallies.
That has gotten much better. Used to lose long rallies against good D teams. That is starting to turn around.
Thought the viewership numbers were great, but could have been better if Fox did any promotion at all.
John Shondell and Sheff have been joke-jawing over text about the match!
Purdue is similar to UW in terms of being gritty, competitive.
Purdue yoyo serve quite a lot. Scheme block a lot. Force you to do things you don't want to. Well coached.
(An ad for using Botox against migraines runs at this point. Is this a thing?!?!)

Franklin: Playing great volleyball. She has a ton of range. Causing Defense to play on their heels.
She is doing great hitting out of system. Not getting blocked. Open up options for other hitters
Chicoine+Hudson: Could be B2B FOYs. Chloe never gives up. As spitfire who has no problem taking as many swings as possible.
Colvin one of best blockers, gets her hands in good positions. The UW blockers learn from that.
Block benefits from the good strategic service game.

I'm a selfish fan with a different volleyball game to attend at 8 PM CT so I'm hoping this one is a sweep that I get to watch in its entirety in time to get to the other match. Otherwise I'm gonna have to request that they play this one on the jumbotron in the other gym.
