Emily Ehman citing Volleyball Magazine as her source is priceless. Why? They're basically tied at the hip.

They're basically tied at the hip. OK, well, I don't get it. But no problem. All I know about her is that she is a Big Ten reporter who played volleyball in the Big Ten a few years ago.

Is this a health issue? Pettit said it did not have anything to do With the record. After just two matches, I would hope not.

If Omaha's PR was more competent, they would have said that he was retiring from coaching due to health or personal issues. Sure, pretty much everyone would know that it was likely a cover story for him just being removed as head coach, but it still sounds better. I have been highly unimpressed with PVF's marketing and PR in general. In fact, the press release announcing this move is seriously one of the worst written that I have ever seen.

But, also, maybe one of the most honest.
