Saint Louis winning would guarantee the A-10 as a 2-bid conference, but, that could have happened if Loyola-Chicago won the AQ anyways or if Loyola took an at-large (which was/is possible).

Saint Louis and Dayton have played some pretty epic matches in the A-10 Tournament over the years. The craziest was when SLU got a touch call from a line judge to win the match, only to have the R1 overrule and un-call the touch to extend the match which Dayton came back to win. |
