Has anyone seen anything that has links to where live stats will be? I've seen a few articles that mention live stats as something that will exist, but haven't found anything that provides an actual URL to them. Thanks!

One way UCI was able to upset UCSB was by serving aggressive and well. Especially freshman Napolean who let her jump serve rip for 3 aces. UCI has 3 starters with jump spin serves in Napolean, Bertolone and Riedl. All three need to be serving it in hard for UCI to be firing on all cylinders and have any chance of upsetting Long Beach St. If I recall the last time UCI got swept by the Beach UCI was mainly setting in a 6-2 system. UCI switched to a 5-1 in the upset against UCSB and has stuck with it since.

Wow, there is hardly anyone in the stands, even with LBSU playing. Do not believe the BWC will make any money, until Hawaii is able to Host the Tournament, in 2026. BWC needs to rethink the Tournament Hosting site, before they start to lose to much money.
To see The Pyramid maybe a Quarter filled, if that, is very sad, especially with LBSU, the Home Team, playing.

Hawai'i needs to put it together for 1 match, then another. They have the best player in the conference and the most talented roster. If they can get out of their own way, they'll be okay. Not focusing on a final because they need to win 1 game first to get to the finals. Proud of the way they fought back against the Beach last Friday in the first set. Go Bows! Hmmm . . . it's a pretty close call as to whether Hawaii has the most talented roster (although I would say Amber is the best player ). UCSB's three headed pin-beast of Ohwobete, Farmer and McKnight is formidable and Peed is an excellent Libero.

Hopefully it will be much more crowded Friday if LBSU advances. 4 pm on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is a tough time for all with mega-traffic, and fans from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo have to decide whether to have Thanksgiving dinner at home.

^^ I was just about to say this. It's just unfortunate timing for a tourney to fall on a holiday weekend

It would not matter, in Hawaii. They could play the matches on Thanksgiving Day, and there would be 6,000-7,000, or more, people in the arena.

I don't think Hawaii would pull 6K - 7K for a first round Wednesday 4pm match against teams like UCI and Davis - the tournament rules provide that the host team does not have the option to take the evening start time if it not the #1 seed. But for the later rounds on the weekend I would agree, except that if Hawaii does not make the finals you might only have several hundred people in the stands to watch teams like Poly vs. Davis play for the championship since those teams will not travel well to Hawaii over Thanksgiving. Also, the BW would have to balance the additional ticket revenue against the cost of flying five teams to Hawaii. But in any event, it wouldn't be fair to the other teams to have it in Hawaii every year (although I would be all for it! ).

I wouldn't mind if they did like the WAC use to do: have it in Vegas.

Need to remember, Hawaiian Air is a Major Sponsor of Hawaii Athletics. One, maybe two, flights can bring the 5 teams over to Hawaii.
