Hawaii & Santa Barbara get winnable matches as expected.
I don't see SB getting by Stanford, they just have such a limited middle attack.
Hawaii definitely can beat Iowa State, if they keep receiving like they have been lately. Even can stress Oregon and have a fighters chance.

So after watching the replay, I say Amber was on fire and everyone stepped up and put pressure on the Beach and kept them out of system.
I do have one question and called me Lo lo but why did the announcer’s keep saying first ever Big West championship?
Did I miss something cause I thought every year there’s a BW championship? 🤣

Surprised that UCSB was also among the last four teams in the NCAA Tournament. Though considering Texas A&M was also among the last four and SFA got in, the committees choices were interesting... lol If UCSB was left out, then that would have been a disaster for the Big West and a reason to not have the tournament. |

The tournament now decides who gets the auto bid to the NCAA (they used to be the same thing). So it’s just language to distinguish the two events/results. |

For the Big West Commisioner's Cup, they will use the tourney results and not the regular season, so they weight more importance to that.

Moving forward people will more likely refer to the tournament winner as the Big West Champions, rather than the regular season leader.
Look at the 73-9 Golden State. Moo point if the team don't win the playoffs (including blowing a 3-1 lead).

How did High Point get in but not LongBeach?! High Point won their conference's automatic bid (unless I'm remembering wrong). I think that the SFA pick over any of the bubble teams was pretty egregious, though Long Beach was too far in RPI to be considered for an at-large bid |

Long Beach will be just fine and more than likely in next season considering how much UCSB is losing as well as Hawaii. Least Long Beach will still have all their fire power left and should be good
