illinois playing out of sorts and my brain cannot handle the combination of that PLUS this pronunciation of illini… i think this game was designed to drive me insane Even if you don't know volleyball you should know how to say the other teams name. Looks like The Gophers are taking care of business tonight.
The Badgers swept The Huskers today. The stage is set for The Gophers to give them loss #2 tomorrow. Finish strong Gophers.

I'm glad the Gophs are straightforward getting this done. Just making the tourney isn't usually a big deal for MN, but it is a big deal this year, so I'm glad they're doing it.

Illinois had a couple periods where they looked pretty good this year. I hope they can get it together in coming seasons. They're overall record isn't crazily bad, but it's a program where I think making the tournament is a baseline.

i’ve been a huge tamas defender but to not even use both timeouts in a must win set/game at the end of the season is just evident of what’s to come.

Nice. No fuss, no muss.
But for the Lost Weekend, MN would have been 14-6 in conference (assuming they lose to NEB). Granted, they had a pretty favorable schedule, avoiding playing a some top tier teams twice. But still. I think The Lost Weekend will always be a part of MN VB lore.
