Hmm, I suppose a player can follow people on instagram without it necessarily meaning contact, but doesn't a player not in the portal giving a follow to the assistant coach for another school after also conveniently visiting that school's campus draw unnecessary attention? Lol

Lol the follow is interesting, but wouldn't be the first player to magically know where she's going before even entering the portal... thinking of somebody who rhymes with wenna jenaas lol

It was a good crowd. Now Coach Vic let’s get in a layup line and practice layups. You didn't attend the BYU game?...that one was over 10,000 I attended both BYU (10K+) and last night's WBB game and there were more physical bodies at the Alabama game than the "10,000" BYU game. And even then (last night), there were several empty seats for both Friday and Sunday games. The more annoying part is that our season tickets seats were empty the entire time we could have been sitting in them! (we were 5 rows back)

Our season tix, used by FSU fans on Friday, were re-sold for Sunday,as was the entire FSU section. No idea who/what the reselling agent was. JE, Andrea, and Rodney Terry had seats there also. In past subregional games, I've seen the second day tickets 1) used by first day seatholder, 2) returned to UT and then re-sold, & 3) re-sold on ticket reseller like SeatGeek.

It's basically an admission that there was already contact

It's basically an admission that there was already contact I wouldn’t say there was “contact” but a player of their caliber can basically say I want to go here and have a really good shot at attending there. I mean recruiting violations happen all the time, but I’m not going to speculate if Devin’s was or if Jenna’s was Speculation does nobody any good

I’m asking from ignorance, I don’t know. Isn’t she on the beach team still? I think the answer is yes. If the answers are no and yes, I would be willing to bet the Texas staff and her are on the same page as to what ever is going on. And if she contacted USC first is there any issue with them talking to her about possibilities?

But I may be wrong

Wow, that was a fast turnaround from player to assistant coach. I was thinking, "Don't they have to pay their dues as a volunteer assistant coach first?" Then I remembered, there is no volunteer assistant position anymore, it's now full time which is much fairer. But to get a full time coach right off the bat? Good for her!

There was never going to be an attendance figure lower than 10k.

What other people see as “tampering” I see as normal behavior that can’t actually be regulated. I don’t even see what the big deal is. It’s like no one here has ever interviewed for another job while they were still at their old one. Like I say, “if you ain’t tampering, you ain’t trying.”
