what does everyone think about the transfer portal opening tomorrow 🤔 I could possibly see an entry for Texas, two at the most. Probably would be a pin, and I think if we take anyone it would most likely to bring in a middle just looking at the numbers. We only have 3 true middles! And only 1 with any collegiate experience. i feel the same way...i commented about it on the texas recruiting thread...i think texas needs a 4th middle too...has bunton fully recovered? it's risky having 3 middles during a season...maybe byrd will cross-train to be a back-up middle (or someone else) if we don't get a middle in the portal |

Happy Transfer Portal Opening Day! As the reigning Texas hype video theme winner for the 2023 season what do we think the theme will be this season? If they still exist I would love to see them pull out the vintage uniforms and do a blast from the past kind of thing.

VNL tournament starts 5/14 and it's behind a paywall at subscribe.volleyballworld.com/volleyball-tv1. You can pay month-to-month for about $10 (I think there's also some savings if you use code EXTRA25), which is less than I spent on a mediocre lunch today and also gets you access to the mens' tournament, recordings of prior year games, international beach VB etc etc I highly recommend it - the production values are good, the commentators are knowledgeable and you can basically get a preview of various national teams before the Olympics. |

Cuttino was only a middle like the last two games of the season bc the other middle was hurt. (the quality sucks, but you get the point) |
