Looks like Madi Skinner has been in NYC attending ceremonies for the Honda Sports Award which went to Stanford softball pitcher (now in the transfer portal), Nijaree Canady (standing beside Madi)

your favorite sports reporter is joining the houston chronicle
Oh, I’m well aware. Be careful what you wish for. He hangs it up at AAS and then comes to my local paper. God has a heck of a sense of humor. Honestly I’d rather he be at the Chronicle with his ridiculousness than the Statesman. I’m sure he’ll be in a reduced role, too. It’s not like the Chronicle has ever had anyone pro Texas, even when they have graduates covering the program. Richard Justice used to regularly go out of his way to establish his bonafides as an “objective” reporter on the program. Bohl’s wil fit into the tradition. Meanwhile the Aggies have had several reporters all in with their nonsense. Him being at the local Austin rag and then constantly going out of his way to be a contrarian just because always got under my skin. I also didn’t value his opinions nor found his writing entertaining. But the unforgivable sin is being front row for Vince Young and then voting for Bush for the Heisman. I will always be convinced that was almost wholly him sticking his middle finger up at the Longhorn fan base, “I do what I want, teeheehee!”

I know there were a lot, but to me that was the signature play of the championship match.
