I keep looking over the Nebraska roster wondering who we’re going to swipe next. jackson, we had jackson coming to texas & jc pulled some magic (well his former player/colorado club coach did)...& then ames magically appears in atx Eh the longhorns don’t need Jackson next year. What they do need though is Akana’s replacement.

Cook won’t play Mauch as much as he should, she becomes disgruntled and brings her burnt orange hair and incredible passing and defense to Texas to step in for Akana before assuming the libero position in 2026.

I keep looking over the Nebraska roster wondering who we’re going to swipe next. lexi for a graduate year. Reason - she deserves a championship and clearly plays well at Gregory Gym. And yes I know she won’t have any eligibility left.

We are one pin hitter injury away from a big drop in talent and experience. And, especially a need in 2025 with possibly zero returning pin hitter starters.

And, especially a need in 2025 with possibly zero returning pin hitter starters. Your definition of need is different than mine. I’m glad she’s on the team. She could very well be a starter this year. Regardless of her role, she’s going to make huge contributions on and off the court. Nonetheless, as a fan, a significant part of her contribution to my entertainment factor is that she used to be at Nebraska, she had a less than fulfilling departure regardless of the reasons for it, and now she’s excited to simply be a part of this Texas team in ways she didn’t feel at Nebraska. All of that feeds me no matter how much or how little she plays.

I'm sure they knew that Helmers and Byrd were coming off injuries, and there was a strong chance Devin would not remain in the program. Glad our staff sees the logic in her value.

That’s what matters most to you. What matters most to me is my entertainment level. I acknowledge how little value I actually give to this team and this program, whereas you seem to see value in being some kind of watchdog and arbiter for what it means to be a true fan. I’m grateful for your presence and activity on here, but it’s often clear you and I do not share the same mindset. This is one of them.

Then you shouldn't have replied with "I mean, it's not like we needed Lauenstein" as you by yourself don't represent "we" one bit whether it be the fan base, the coaching staff, or the program.
