5-3 start to the season again. Pretty similar teams to last year, too (top 10 team, top 20 team, not-even-top-50 team). Let’s hope we find our groove toward the end of the season again. Conference isn’t a cakewalk anymore though, so not as much time to find a rhythm. next two wins are anything but guaranteed |

Good news was that we finally put Lauenstein in. Lineup changes are happening.
I think I’m with uofa on the 6-2. Can we at least try it?? Devin killed it when she was in and seemed to pass well, too. Akana back row for Lauenstein.

To me its not the talent that left although it was huge…but Texas has all the talent in the world…just gotta piece it all together…its moreso the leadership and experience lost…especially with O’neal…

A butt kicking. The mediocre passing and the MB play were not good. This team can't rely on Madi to carry them. They have to get production from other areas. JE and his coaching staff is going to have to figure it out because they can easily lose on Wednesday night against Baylor. O'Neal is not walking through that door.

Me personally would have rather head Rutherford in during that last part… also I think the cutoff is now. We decide on our middles, we decide on our passers and if we need to play a little that’s fine! We have to pick up some wins because the SEC isn’t gonna be as easy as some think

Whit could have easily taken over the match and gave us some much needed momentum. I think Ella needs to stop jump setting right now. Maybe later on when the connection is better but for now focus on strengthening the connection with the pins and that’ll be huge. |
