i'm checking the watch espn schedule and, while i don't want to alarm anyone, i don't see wednesday's Texas match in the lineup i shall alert the authorities Mississippi doesn’t have the internet yet. Just kidding. I see it if you navigate to SEC+

"Chemistry" has come up a little bit, but I haven't seen anyone mention what Baby Spice told the AAS after the first of these three consecutive losses:
See page 22 of the Nov 1 issue.
Seems to me if it is being mentioned that chemistry is a work in progress, it probably has been an issue since before the season started.
Wasn't it before the 2022 season that JE talked about how close all the players were? I've wondered how it can be possible to maintain that high level over a stretch of years.

I think chemistry doesn’t always mean “how close they are” It could just mean how they play together, in this case that’s how I’m seeing it They just aren’t “playing well as one” Off the court they seem fine

Your wording clearly conveys you are trying to make me feel guilty for my opinion on this team that I am also a fan of. I do not. But I'm happy for you. LOL -- don't play the victim. Your wording indicates you don't believe in the motto that "There's no "I" in "T-E-A-M". Your words stated your beliefs moreso than an opinion. Just own it. If I didn't know any better, I'd think that Skylar Fields hacked your account. K

So, is it logical to assume that Texas will ride and die with the 5-1 offense the rest of the season?
I don't want to be critical of just one player because I think several of our players have not played very well the last 3 matches; but, is the main reason why the coaches reverted back to the 1-setter offense simply because Swindle wasn't playing nearly as well as Carlson? That's what the stats tell me.
Yes, serve-receive has not been adequate. Not sure Emerick coming in for Wenaas is the long-term solution; but, I guess giving her a chance in an actual match was the best way to find out if she can hold her own.

“We like the 6-2”
Wait no Ella does nothing 5-1 with Averi
No wait 5-1 with ella and even though we liked Jenna weeks ago we don’t anymore so Devin
Yall, I get it. You’re not used to thsi, but the constant back and forth is crazy

I don’t hate the idea of Skinner playing 2/3 defensive rotations in right back. get her a bit less involved in defense and have her available more hitting D balls instead of only bics that have been less effective anyways. that helps if both of our middles actually feel more comfortable hitting in the middle too. no forced slides if we don’t want to. I’m sort of indifferent on Emerick vs Wenaas back row overall if and ONLY IF Emerick plays middle back. I think a DS might be able to top Jenna’s passing but I’m not sure about defense tbh. defense was the worst its ever been this season last match.

So, we're still not having either of our middle blockers at the service line, right? I totally missed who subbed in to serve for whom on Sunday against OU. I remember Wenaas serving, so did Emerick and Akana. Madi served and so did Carlson. Rutherford did not serve.

Carlson, Wenaas, Emerick, Akana, Skinner, Halter against OU (I think that was the order too?)

I thought Wenaas wasn't playing back row, but she served; so too did Emerick who I thought played back row in place of Wenaas. Maybe the subs were different each set; I couldn't keep up.
