My concern is not that they brought Carlson in, but why isn't Ella, and other past recruit setters, getting the training to improve while here.

Are you in the practice gym? Did Gabriel get better? Did Saige get better? Did Crownover show up at Mizzou with some good training under her belt after 2 seasons at Texas? For some players, I think it's mental and the college game might be too big for them. Maybe that was the case for Shook. Not sure what impacted Cabello. I definitely don't know why Ella is struggling so much; not sure why some posters want to blame the coaches. Sometimes a player has to take accountability for their play. |

Another streak which will come to an end is Texas earning at least 20 wins in the regular season. Best we can hope for if we win out is a record of 18-6; scarier that if we drop another match or two, we're looking at 17 or 16 wins. I've posted my displeasure with Jerritt's strategy on the number of non-conference matches he's scheduled compared to other schools the last few seasons. On the flip side, he didn't schedule any matches against non-conference opponents whose RPI is currently lower than #94. That might be what's keeping us in the RPI Top 10 as there are no super weak teams on our schedule whose RPI drags ours down. ncaastats.figstats.net/teamsheet.phtml/Texas |

Am I the only one who didn't realize our next match won't be for 8 more days at Auburn? For whatever reason I thought that match was this Friday, November 8.
Really wanted this team to start building on the momentum earned last night; guess it will have to wait.

Good match thus far. horns played great defense, they must be exhausted horns win in double overtime over the hogs horns playing for the sec tournament championship this weekend against south carolina also justus had 14 saves, craziness |

Same with DSs up until recently but that’s due to the culture Fleck brought … In your opinion, which Longhorn setters under David Hunt could never reach the ceiling you hoped for? Ahhh thought he was apart of Collin’s and Shooks tenures as well, oops. It just feels like the setters never shine on this team like they do on others. But it’s probably cause the stars are usually the OH/MBs lol. Swindle I hoped, would’ve been in top 4 setter convos, but I guess sophomore slump? |
