there is absolutely no rhyme, reason, excuse, NOTHING, that can justify starting Jenna over Devin in the front row. Yeah Jenna needs to be regulated to back row....that or her leash needs to be cut in half. |

I watched the game in bits and pieces but from the little that I watched, it looked like Devin held her own in the back row. Can someone provide the passing stats for her when they become available please?

1. Have to be honest, thought we were cooked down 10-14.
2. Ol Miss fan shouted out "Hoddy Toddy!!!!" and the Ol Miss bench was dancing in anticipation of it being 10-15
3. Probably the absolute best thing to happen to this team before the start of the tournament
4. As Texas was down in the 5th several people were getting up from their seats - "Well, might as well get a start on the rush out of the parking garage"
5. For a minute in the timeout between the 4th and 5th set I seriously thought about sitting outside the steps of Gregory rather than going through the agony of losing the 6th 5-set game of this year. But, senior celebration post-game kept me in my seat
6. I don't understand why this defensive hole in the middle of our court opened up where no one could or would defend the dinks sent there
7. 16 service errors for Ol Miss!
8. It bothered me that when our players were told to "just get it across the net" they still hit it short
9. I was counting on the "I'll either break your fingers or your hands with this attack" from Devin and she came through for me in the last point
10. Quit hitting into the block! Please. I beg you.

I was one of those who got up from my General Admission seat but I went down to the court near the merch table to watch. I still believed. And it was amazing watching the team rally for each other and then to hear the whole gym erupt when Devin scored the winning point |

I would love to see Devin front row and Jenna back row. I mean it seems like a no brainer. Devin’s ceiling in the front row is WAY higher than Jenna’s. she looked so comfortable out of system. imagine when she has Madi back row to help hold the block for her too. |

Any insight into why Devin changed up her serve toss? She usually has a fairly high toss with sort of a rolling motion. We had serving issues today so maybe the coaches told her to simplify?

I haven’t been posting Point Texas tidbits since it seemed like JE didn’t want us to (sorry Jerritt)
But I don’t think it’s giving away state secrets to reveal he said that the team has a great culture this year and didn’t shrink away during the adversity
I think we could see that in the 5th set
