While I wish we had an Opposite hitter who could play some back row to add more offensive options, I definitely miss Molly Phillips' combination of hitting and blocking at the right pin. I always felt Phillips was very under-appreciated; several posters wanted to harp on her weaknesses instead of realizing her many strengths and contributions.

Sorry, but I value the team's success over one individual player's success. So, i care more about Texas winning than Skinner's pro contract. Your wording clearly conveys you are trying to make me feel guilty for my opinion on this team that I am also a fan of. I do not. But I'm happy for you. LOL -- don't play the victim. Your wording indicates you don't believe in the motto that "There's no "I" in "T-E-A-M". Your words stated your beliefs moreso than an opinion. Just own it. If I didn't know any better, I'd think that Skylar Fields hacked your account. |

I've had a lot of negativity towards the team the past couple of weeks for obvious reasons. It's not gonna do anything to make them better or not. At this point, I'm just hoping they know what they can do and harness that and be accountable to play Texas Volleyball.

Texas fans, when was the last time the Horns were ranked outside of the top 10? I believe I found the answer and it’s Week 4 of the 2010 season 😳 The Horns fell to Stanford 0-3 and Florida 2-3 at the Nike Big Four Volleyball Classic in Gainesville, and then were swept by Texas A&M in College Station for their Big 12 opener. They bounced back with a sweep over Baylor in Austin, but the Horns began Week 4 ranked #12 They re-entered the top 10 in Week 8 of the 2010 season and have remained there ever since Since someone asked (not trying to continuously remind you Texas fans I promise 😭) |

From the AVCA thread: With their #15 AVCA Ranking, Texas' streak of AVCA Top 10 rankings ends at 228 weekly polls (including the COVID fall season polls). This is the first time since 10/31/2010 the Longhorns have not been in the Top 10. |

This is the first time since 10/17/2010 the Longhorns have not been in the Top 10. Fixed, as they were #10 for the last 2 polls in October 2010. |
