Great match for the Ducks. Hit .340 as a team. Mimi with 21 kills, hit .425. 11 team blocks! Can't wait for NCAA tourney and our top 8 seed!

So thinking the Ducks in the Stanford Regional? I hope not. Maples Pavilion has been our kryptonite this year. Wisconsin looks tough though, and not sure I fancy another trip to Pittsburgh either.

Idk, 15-12 in the 5th loss with only Morgan having a big time game. I think 3rd time is a charm. Anyway, all the 1 seeds will be strong and at least Stanford’s crowd is pretty nice overall. I guess we will see. Don’t want to look past holding home court first. Go Ducks!!

So thinking the Ducks in the Stanford Regional? The last projection I saw in another thread was this: 1. Nebraska 2. Stanford 3. Wisconsin 4. Pitt 5. Louisville 6. Oregon 7. Texas 8. Kentucky The fact that Wisconsin beat Nebraska makes this projection somewhat dubious wrt exact placement IMO. However, I think Neb is #1 because they only have one loss and it's to one of the four top seeds. Stanford and Wisky both have 3 losses, and those losses are similar if you don't factor in an injury. If you factor the injury in, then Wisconsin should be #2 and Stanford #3. Pitt and Louisville at #4 and #5 have very similar resumes. Does the committee want to flip Louisville to #6 and Oregon to #5 to avoid the conference showdown in the Pitt and Stanford Regionals?

Looking forward to it all getting started. Exciting time of year!

Stanford at #2 puts them against Texas, not a conference showdown.

Will these teams ever face each other again? Won't really be beneficial for Ducks RPI wise, unless Beavs continue to improve. Though of course spring scrimmages or maybe first match of the season as a scrimmage. Yes, as much as OSU showed signs of life this year, they're losing most of the lineup. It'll be a big RPI hit. I don't think we need to schedule it, but it may help with travel, so IDK. Excuse my sort of green look as I've only been watching the sport for two years. But here is my take (as an OSU fan). While true they will be losing most of the lineup, Sheridan and Suess (and Schuster) were only there one year. Vernon and to a lesser degree McDonald will be missed. Starters for next year at this point (unless there are transfers) will be Burns, Rumel (who really started to excel as the season progressed) and White (most likely starting all games just like she always has). Who else starts beats the hell out of me at this point. . Will Light be able to play a full load with not really playing the last 2 seasons since her injury and will Doga (who was played early in the season much more than the end) step up... Most likely our coach will hit the transfer portal again and take advantage of some grad students that want to go to school here, it worked well this year with helping us improve.

Agreed, raid the portal is the best short term answer although there are some decent recruits coming as I've seen them mentioned in the 2024 recruit thread.
