My hope for our Non-Conference next year:
Week 1 Away (Southwest Challenge): UNLV, Weber State, Grand Canyon Week 2 Away (Mountain Challenge): Colorado, Denver, Wyoming Week 3 Home (Northwest Challenge): OSU, Portland State/Montana State, Boise State Week 4 Home or Away:(Best of the West Challenge): Hawaii, Pepperdine or San Diego [USC or UCLA]
I dunno if we should play WSU next year.... rivalry aside, it can be an RPI bomb.

What’s the teams biggest strength and weakness? The biggest areas of improvement that will help Washington win more of the points differential are 1- quality defensive touches (both on the block and off the floor), 2- Passing, 3- Setting consistency. If Bush gets back and healthy, I'm actually relatively high on this teams potential for 2024. With a healthy Bush, I think missing the NCA tournament again would be a disappointment, but if we are able to squeeze out 2-3 more points per set in transition based on better defensive touches and setting consistency, and can up our side-out percentage via better passing to a consistent 60% or so, I wouldn't be surprised to see Washington playing in the second week of the NCAA tournament this upcoming year.

So does all that mean: Biggest Strength- a healthy Bush. Weakness: Defensive ball control.

Are we finally looking at some transfers? Some tea that SC's Kiune Fletcher might be looking at UW, and Tulino, OH from Santa Clara, and a libero from Texas A&M corpus christi as some mutual follows.

I'm glad to know that there is at least "tea" Someone also mentioned Mele Corral Bl.... as a possible transfer. I also noticed mutual follows with Kennedy Osunsamni

Wow. Best day of optimistic UW news I've seen on VT in quite some time.

Well there we go, the tea was right, Zoria Heard is the libero/DS from Texas A&M, Corpus christi. Looks like she was more of the DS role, so likely will maintain that.

It's hard to imagine a much bigger culture shift than Texas A&M to University of Washington. (I'm not talking volleyball.)

Statistically, Heard was a fabulous passer this past season for A&M Corpus Christi (though Barnes has made me skeptical of that now lol)
