Sophia Tulino, transfer from Santa Clara. InstagramMasters in Public Health. Excellent. UW is one of the top schools in the country for that.

That’s a good get. I believe she was on Iowa’s campus as well. Big 10 battles.

We could futz with a 6-2 again next year, but we’d need to pick up a setter.

It's great to have some depth. Not sure Heard or Tulino are the strong passing help UW needs, but options are helpful.

Any thoughts on where Washington finishes in the B1G next fall? Is 8 or 9 too low?

Statistically, Heard was a fabulous passer this past season for A&M Corpus Christi (though Barnes has made me skeptical of that now lol) Heard: 97sp, 253dg, 2.61dg/s, 325rec, .929rec%, 0.24re/s Tulino: 84sp, 3.11k/s, .233%, 108dg, 1.29dg/s, 314rec, .911rec%, 0.33re/s Zilbert: 112sp, 209dg, 1.87dg/s, 494rec, .941rec%, 0.26re/s Wilmes: 117sp, 2.40k/s, .178%, 217dg, 1.85dg/s, 512rec, .920rec%, 0.35re/s Good to see the emphasis on ball control. Heard looks to be replacing Zilbert at DS and back-up L. Tulino (6'0") looks to be adding depth/competition at OH, which is sorely needed. OH/OPP: Bush, Endsley, Barton, Wilmes, Tulino MB: Wessels, Hani, Hunt S: Wilson, Haury L/DS: Bays, Huard*, Griffin*, Heard* *Walk-ons? That makes 11 scholies, so room for one more? UW doesn't seem to be coaching "split step" receiving/digging (our feet look to be glued to the floor). Why not? Who is?: Texas!

I want to vomit when i hear “split step”. It’s waisted, useless movement. Much like the Toshi pass and SQUAT!
