Hmm, I love Lexi but I don't think her numbers are good enough to be the defensive player of the year in the Big Ten, especially seeing that Purdue's libero had 4.6 digs per set.

OK Sloane Nebraska is not getting 3/4 B1G POY awards lmao What are the awards? I feel like coach and freshman are a lock. Doesn’t the big give a DPOY award? I feel like Lexi is a running candidate for that too. |

She does, but they have a star freshman coming in so there has been talk here wondering if she's going to come back or not. Yes, I was going to say with Stella coming in I wonder what Shaff will do if she has that extra year. I love Shaff but I kind of want to see some new blood in that position for the Gophers. Edit: It's always helpful to have an experienced setter on the roster to have the young freshman battle with/learn from. I think it would be absolutely great for Stella to have Melanie there to mentor her. The question is would Melanie want to sit on the bench if KCook decides to start Stella? |
