I've been wondering if some teams overlook their first round opponent a bit in terms of time and energy spent in scouting/prepping. Too much focus and prep for their anticipated second opponent the following night.

I have never seen a PSU team like this... simple balls fall, unforced errors, passing struggles, etc., etc., etc. If RR is watching this, the expletives he must be spewing ... |

Yale doing a good job hanging in. They've stopped the PSU run a couple times in a row - not letting it get to 1 or 2 or tied

According to Hambly he never preps ahead for any opponent, but as Lou Holtz once said in reference to his own squad, "I never knew what team was showing up." |

Yale is playing well, but PSU is nowhere near the level they should be at. This is a 21-3 team they are playing. They should know they wouldn't roll over.

PSU went down 7-0 this set, partly due to SR with Hannah in. At that point KSC subbed in Starck.
