i love that the first round matches are entertaining now. even a decade ago, it was rare to see a seed drop a set let alone get swept like two already have. There was a lot of variance in the brackets a decade ago due to increased regionalization. But we've only been in this seeding format for two years, prior to that, teams like Penn State weren't a seed. |
