Purdue is making their 25th NCAA tournament appearance. The Boilermakers are 124-100 (.554) in sets played since their first appearance in 1981. They have reached:
Elite Eight 5 times -- 1982,2010,2013,2020-21,2022
Sweet Sixteen 10 times -- 1981,1983,1985,1987,2005,2006,2008,2011,2012,2019.
Fairfield is making their 13th NCAA tournament appearance. The Stags are 1-36 (.027) in sets played since their first appearance in 1997. They won their only tournament set in 2000.

Really wish it was just the play-by-play on this broadcast- they clearly know the game better than the analyst, who feels the need to say something after every point despite not knowing what they're talking about.
I know I'm being critical.

Was their longtime BTN+ analyst named, "Unique Beaver" or did I always mishear them? I actually liked her calls whenever I caught them.

She was good- a very mellow analyst, like the opposite of excitable which I appreciated.

I'm only slightly conflicted, I'd like to see Purdue advance, but one of the gals I coached in her early club days is playing for Fairfield.
