I know it's cliche' to state that in the post-season, everyone starts 0-0. And, "it's a new season". Those are true statements. Obviously, if A&M was coming into the post-season better than 2-8 in their last 10 matches and 1-5 in their last 6 matches, they wouldn't be facing Texas in the first round. But, A&M is not playing their best volleyball of the season; are they playing their worst? Haven't watched enough of them to know that answer. Can they make a quick turnaround/improvement from their last match at Alabama?

Decent bit of maroon as you’d expect, but not as many as I thought. Also it’s hard to distinguish the Texas State and A&M fans apart. (Most of them probably cheering for A&M anyways lol)

im only seeing LHN, not ESPN+...ugh Yep. I'm hoping that you can watch it via LongHorn Network using ESPN +. They advertised it as showing on both networks. If you search for Texas, you can see a link to the match. Since it hasn't started yet, can't be sure that will work - but I did not get an authentication error when I clicked on it. |

People love to root for the underdog, so maybe. But I've known plenty of Texas State grads who root for Texas. Plenty of Texas State grads who root for A&M, too. A lot of it just depends on their background and then whatever pachinko machine of life that leads people to root for whatever teams we root for when there's not an automatic connection to them. |
