I think SMU does some things nicer than A&M, particularly with clean play. But, I don't think they have the physicality to really stand a chance. That's what made A&M so dangerous here.

Well, do not underestimate the ability of an opponent to block Wenaas. And SMU's floor defense is light year's better than A&M's in my opinion. But it's just tough to beat host schools in the subregional. Texas has made it to the Sweet 16 every year since 2005. Texas has some weaknesses this year they haven't had in the past, though. That's for certain. |
