I don't see that being a factor even a little bit. It's not like you hired Bill Self away or anything. You should read the Kansas message boards and Jayhawk X (formerly Twitter). They are very unhappy, to the point of making a lot of pedophile comments. Ok sure, but most of those fans will be more interested in the KU vs. UConn game (potentially one of the best regular season men’s college basketball games of the year) later tonight than the match-up vs. Penn State. Matt Tait at R1S1 interviewed Reagan Burns after the match and she said that the team knows people think they are underdogs vs. Penn State. I think the underdog mentality is gonna be good for the team - they’ve been tight the last 3 matches and the opportunity to play one of the most successful programs in the history of Division I Women’s volleyball at home should be good. Key will be for KU to establish the middles, as said above in this thread - if they get Onabanjo and Myers even somewhat going it’s going to open up Elnady, Cooper, and Davis and counter Penn State’s great block. |

Have you not seen Regan Cooper or Alnady?? They’ve got two Mruzik’s. And Turner is the better setter. If KU can get modest involvement from the middles they should handle this 3-1 in 4 close sets. So Cooper and Alnady would have both been named first team All-B1G? Yeah, sure. Well they were first (Cooper) and second team Big12 which was the better conference top to bottom. So yeah… |

The crowd might be a little spicy today. Penn State hired Kansas Football's very popular offensive coordinator yesterday and announced it earlier today.
