been a fan pf georgia tech since collier took over. so i'm happy for them. not a fan of the way florida plays for some time now (perpetually so much talent) but feel for their players nevertheless.

She seemed to be scolding Collier…. Wrong thread my friend. I know Dan doesn’t always provide a proper role model for young coaches so you have not seen class on a regular basis. Please calm down, class monitor. That was not being critical of Mary by any means. It was a great game and passionate on both sides and even the commentators were speculating about what was said. Lots of respect for what Ms Wise was able to do with her team even after her setter went down. Looking forward to Stuckey’s return!

Mary, you in danger girl. Of what? Being the coach with the most wins? What are you suggesting? Florida and Wise had a pretty good season with all the injuries and so many 5 set match's that can go either way.

Mary, you in danger girl. Of what? Being the coach with the most wins? What are you suggesting? The notion that Wise would be "in danger" this season when they looked like the best team in the country early and then got ravaged by injury is hilarious.

I never understood why Florida was given hosting rights to the initial rounds of the NCAA tournament. Happy that GT won on the road. Well-deserved.

I'm OK with the Gators prevailing, just as long as they don't win. What?? 😄😄😄😄 I like the Gator team, but GT is my team. So.... there's that. I watched the replay of the final point about 30 times. It never gets old. Sadly, this success probably won't help with recruiting outside Brazil. It will just increase the number of schools trying to lure our coach away with more money.

Really devastating loss. We all knew it would come down to serve receive and Florida really just can't pass a ball to save their lives when it matters. One thing I know? These girls are out for blood next year, knowing how good they were before the Stucky injury. Kudos to Muff for carrying what I think is the biggest load being the only setter on the team but also the backup setter that never expected to play. I'm just so ready to forget about this season and move on Congrats to GT. Your prize - Nebraska. Hoping you manage 15 pts. In their last meeting, 0-20 conf Iowa Hawkeyes were bested by NE -21, -21, -15. Assuming the Huskers take care of the Tigers, GT - NE should be interesting and competitive.

Injuries, no injuries … SEC Championship, no SEC Championship, tournament appearances/finishes good or bad, etc, etc, etc ….. Mary Wise will coach at Florida for as long as she wants to unless she commits a felony (God forbid). Florida’s on court successes and deficiencies over the years all have one common denominator. Florida fans get perennial success in most terms other than a National title - way better than most fans get. Hopefully nobody leaves.

Should the refs have even allowed that? Have too by rule

at this point, can both teams lose? neither deserves to be in the s16 with these performances tonight. lol Exciting match. But you are right, streaks of error filled play.

Well-deserved. not sure if its related but arizona state was not able to host (i believe they had a conflict in scheduling their arena) it was obvious from the zoom that the committee chair had no idea ASU wasn't able to host which to me means they were never in the conversation. i feel like the regional should've just been exactly as it was but with GT as the 4 and Florida as the 5.
