it was obvious from the zoom that the committee chair had no idea ASU wasn't able to host which to me means they were never in the conversation. i feel like the regional should've just been exactly as it was but with GT as the 4 and Florida as the 5. Agree. GT should've been 4 and Florida 5 based on the season results. But hey, GT, after "mopgate" is probably on the committee's "do not host" list.

terrible call the ball was fully over the net on Florida side Not fully, in the plane, but still bad call. Yes but pales in comparison to the magnitude of the no touch call at 11-9 in set 5. Blatant, clear, hand-snapping, ball spin altering touch that should have made it 12-9 Florida. You know you stole one, ‘Jackets. Hope Beason and Co. rolls your behinds.

You all are building that molehill up into a gigantic mountain. It shows you don't have anything real to disparage GT over, so you resort to that.

I'm still thinking, even the next day, about the Otene kill to push it to match point. It would be a cool swing regardless of the game situation but it's elevated given its timing. Had to post about it again so I could save the highlight tweet:

Oh? Does this mean you’re admitting you stole that 2017 Regional final as well? Earned. Lanier couldn’t pass. That's funny. Lanier has 0 reception errors that match. Florida's libero (Caroline Knop) had SIX. Ouch.

I was in the building that night. Lanier put the Trojans out of system at least 6 times in set 5, whether they were reception errors or not. You couldn’t handle Joseph. Couldn’t handle Snyder. And what call were you even referencing? The double? The ball off Abercrombie? The ripped aces by Snyder? Scoreboard, hater. The Gators won the SEC and PAC-12 in 2017. UCLA? Boom. USC? Good night! Stanford? Denied. Anything else?

^Florida fans, time to take this one home. Fight off decided to go into the way back machine. Wrong then, wrong now. And any one denying that the call in set 5 LAST NIGHT at 11-9 was WRONG is absolutely delirious. I’d argue as egregious as the call at Texas. Oh that’s right, tell me to take that one home too. Good luck, Vandy.

Lanier was the class of the match (26-3-60) .383, 15 digs, 0 reception errors. I see you didn't have any defense of the Florida' liberos awful passing while shotting at Lanier. Interesting. Lanier hit better (% and total kills) on more swings in tougher situations than Joseph. USC got killed in the middle (they didn't have the guns or size to slow Florida down) and WON the serve-pass battle. Calling me a hater while complaining about a call in the GA Tech match, but not acknowledging Florida's own fortune (who also survived Miami-FL thanks to another phantom double call in the 2nd round that year) is a little ironic. Also, bye, Mick, is ironic given... he owned Mary, despite that one match on Florida's home court barely going her way. The two calls (alone in the 5th) were another phantom double and the replay BS overturn.

Did you mention that Knop played the last month with a broken hand and cast? Did you mention that she turned in the best libero play in the National Semifinals, by far, denying Stanford the chance at the four peat? Did you mention that she played a key role in helping that team to a 2-loss season, with the 2nd coming in the National Championship? Let me pre-empt your negative response by saying that she didn’t pass well vs. Nebraska in that final. Not sure why you are such a revisionist or why you picked out such a specific stat from a match 6 years ago. THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LAST NIGHT’s Florida vs. GA Tech tilt. Please share your rationale, Troy Boy.

I just thought you needed to be reminded and keep perspective (and I think you still do need to keep persepective). If you can't see why it's ironic you chose to pick on a particular player on USC's poor serve receive was the reason why they lost when Florida lost the serve-pass game, IDK what to to tell you.
