No one who is a big name randomly "jumps" in the portal. They already know where they are going before they do. so coaches and other teams’ players can already line that up during the season? Coaches will work with 3rd parties to communicate and line up specifics for transfers. (Old Club Coach or HS Coach) |

Lmao like how can they have someone already lined up (unless it is the wake forest transfer)? No one who is a big name randomly "jumps" in the portal. They already know where they are going before they do. I think that is mostly true; but not an absolute. Madi Skinner flat out stated several times that she was intent on transferring to a school not in the state of Texas such as UCLA. She ended up at Texas b/c Elliott swayed her to visit. |

Either way I think we will find out soon enough. Rhodes probably wants to go to a better school for her last year (whether volleyball better or academically better. decently low bar for both). O’Brien is an outside that was being used as a DS, probably wants to hit. Gilland didn’t start. Hoskins and Rossi literally never stepped on the court, while Mooney played 7 sets. I think it all seems pretty natural. does open up 2-3 scholarships for the coach though. |
