get a passing OH and you can ride Hellmuth's, Rutherford's, and Lednicky's arms pretty far
not to mention Cos-Okpalla in the middle too, those are some big blocks

did a&m get a transfer outside or did I make that up in my head Yes, we got a girl from Pepperdine. Also got another commit this morning, hoping for Rutherford! Makes sense with her Skyline connections….. A&M is an OH away from becoming very dangerous next year This was an interesting pickup to me. It makes for her going back to her home state, but A&M is replacing both left sides and I don’t know if a career .171 hitter is the answer? But maybe the staff sees the vision for her to improve, JM is a good coach!

if A&M lands Rutherford, they should play Lednicky on the left pin, unless they plan on running a 6-2 where every ball goes to the opposite lol gonna run it back like UCLA's 6-2 in 2016: Opposites play 6-rotations. Middles and setters sub in/out together. Libero subs back row for the OHs. Rutherford helps pass in the back row. Once or twice a set, have a DS sub in for Lednicky in the back row to pass.

I would assume 6-2 as it currently stands, pending any more roster additions. Waak really can’t run a 5-1?

Never played 6 rotations, but she is 6-3 so brings some intangibles to the table. I trust in Morrison in his evaluations but I’m currently scratching my head a bit

Stinson from NW bio says “northwestern alum” is she in the portal or just not using her 5th year? This seems to be the A&M pickup. Has received follows from Morrison, Perkins, Brown, Whitmarsh, Hellmuth, Hogan, Cos-Okpalla, Woods, Dir of Ops, and the A&M VB account. update- And Maddie + Robin Waak

From watching LSU often, she got torn up on the block. She held her own offensively. I mean maybe she does run a 5-1, but as it currently stands I’d bet on a 6-2 with Manning/Waak

This girl had a great year in the Big10. A&M needs a lot of improvement passing.

Love that they made it EVEN more confusing by having the opps be TVW and Buechler, who then would play left side while Hayley Lawless (or Kyra Rogers whichever was starting that day) would go over to the right.

I loved that team too! How that team didn't get called for a rotation violation every serve amazed me. Jordan Anderson went OFF in her senior season. My favorite was when they played Zana Muno as an OPP. You never go wrong having Muno and Formico on the floor together. The one downfall was losing Claire Felix's slide, but they figured out how to get her involved by the end of the season.

That sounds confusing as heck! Oh it was SO MUCH fun to watch! Love the Sealy Era. Hawaii did something similar in 2019 setters subbed in for the middles instead though the rest of the team player 6 rotations. My favorite season by far. I was DEVASTATED when jolie got injured
