Houston not playing bad Stanford just scoring at will and better Houston doesn't have a single block. I think they only scored off their serve twice in that entire set. Once was a tape serve ace. The score isn't bad at 25-20, but if you can't ever score off your own serve any lead is out of reach.

Stanford has *44* kills through two sets. Holy sh*t.
That has to be a record if only considering sets that didn't go extra points.

Stanford scored 24 of their 25 points on kills this set. That's ridiculous.
They're hitting .541 as a team.

An absolute offensive masterpiece put together by Stanford in those two sets. 44 kills on their 50 points. Mind boggling numbers.

Stanford scored 24 of their 25 points on kills this set. That's ridiculous. They're hitting .541 as a team. Houston is hitting .333 as a team with only 3 errors for the match. For that set they hit .355 with only 1 error. That's enough to win most matches. Even though the score was pretty close throughout the whole set, they were never really in it, because they couldn't score on their serve.

If Stanford makes the middles this big of an option in their offense, I’m not sure if anyone can stop them.
Can’t believe this announcers aren’t talking about Stanford’s ridiculous numbers in the first two sets.

Houston got so many points in set 2 from Stanford's serving errors! Ugh

Can’t believe this announcers aren’t talking about Stanford’s ridiculous numbers in the first two sets. If there's no block and no service pressure from their opponents, sure, Stanford is going to win the national championship. But it's not like Stanford's defense is world class here.

Houston got so many points in set 2 from Stanford's serving errors! Ugh It wasn't just from service errors. The key to this match is putting pressure from the service line. Stanford is doing it. Houston isn't. Now Stanford's serve receive gets credit, too, but the fact of the matter you have to find a way to put pressure on the opponent, and UH simply isn't able to do it.
