I'd agree! And I have no idea why this one is showing up so well when others just don't. Is it hue? Is it chroma? I don't know why it's working but I'm glad it is!
I think it’s the tint that is creating contrast with the background (the yellow outline has a similar effect). In color theory, a tint is a mixture of a color with white, which increases lightness, while a shade is a mixture with black, which increases darkness. Both processes affect the resulting color mixture's relative saturation. A tone is produced either by mixing a color with gray, or by both tinting and shading. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tint,_shade_and_tone#:~:text=In%20color%20theory%2C%20a%20tint,by%20both%20tinting%20and%20shading.

I found that interesting. I’ve never thought about it before. If you add white to red, you get pink. Add black, and you get a darker shade of pink, etc. Just about every color can be created with some combination of Red, Yellow and Blue (the primary colors) and black and white. There are variations of this for printing and in the real world (light rays), etc, but it’s essentially true.

I just hadn’t ever given any thought to the terms tint or shade and what those terms meant, exactly.

I love me some Sky Fields but Pitt will take this especially if VVG gets down and dirty like she did against Louisville. Pitt in 3 or 4. Agreed, Karen. Remind me how USC even made it to this match? Won exactly 4 sets in their 3-loss streak to end the season and then get handed UMBC on a silver platter? Weird. Oh well, Fight Off will be sent off tonight. Maul ‘em, Panthers.

Maul ‘em, Panthers. how closely they played stanford would be concerning to me if I was a pitt fan... you're also forgetting they were without the most offensively dominant pin in the NCAA for those matches. in a perfect world I want pitt to win and then later lose to Louisville but I dont wanna take any chances so fight on baby

30 minutes to first serve! Get yer predictions in. I’m always rooting for the upset but I think Pitt’s block is too potent for Fields, hopefully they spin the dial to get her against Fairbanks. Klika better be ready cross court though
