Landfair 1.92 (18) Wucherer 1.42 (19) Hmmm… and I heard Minnesota’s passing was all fixed up, and it was all the setters fault the offense does not work. Umm, please quote where you heard that. Methinks you are dreaming things up. Coincidently, Minnesota fans are being criticized over in the Minnesota thread being to hard on the team.

This is not KBB's most talented club but they sure do play together as a team. this might be a hot take.... but I think Martin/Sis are as equally, if not more talented than 2016 Winters/Kloth I was thinking of Kloth and company when I wrote my sacred screed which was a more talented team.

hahah, I don't think any gophers fan has said that. I’m terrible at using the features of this board, or I’d hit you with a quote from another thread.. Press "quote" on the post in question and copy all of the text into your clipboard. Then come back to this thread, press "reply", and paste in what you copied. Add any other comments, and submit.

This is what he was specifically referring to: I’m not into pointless banter Since Wookie is largely out of backcourt passing responsibility And TayLa increasingly reliable (tho certainly prone to errors) as a passer That ‘sus’ rep has, for the most part, expired

Not sure that "all fixed up" == "Wookie is largely out of backcourt passing responsibility And TayLa increasingly reliable (tho certainly prone to errors) as a passer"

Congratulations to Creighton. They were the better team in so many ways. To Minnesota fans having Hugh retire may be the reason for two transfers and certainly for Choboy. You can’t diminish those possible three losses as immaterial to the Gophers ceiling as a team in 2023.

Kudos to Creighton for passing well and playing such clean ball. The Gophers were outplayed in all aspects.

Wookie had a total of 17 serve receptions in the final FOUR matches of the B1G season She had 1 reception error.
She had 12 receptions vs Creighton with 1 error. I've no idea why she was in the reception pattern has much as she was. I haven't rewatched the match and I don't know how much MN's reception led to OOS sets and attacks.

She has a stoic look most of the time but what I meant by uncomfortable is that she seemed extra tentative to take big rips. In the early part of the warmups before the Purdue at Minnesota match, I saw that Taylor was wearing a brace around her midsection. She didn't have it on when the team came out for the second part of the warmups. Maybe it was just to help her back or midsection warm up, but it was the first time I had seen that this year. I think I know what you’re talking about, because I saw it and I have one. It’s a heat and vibration massager for the back. hyperice.com/products/venom-2-back/

So many times I've watched really good Creighton teams--but it's always outside outside outside, and in the tournament, if you have one of them have a bad game you're done. Now, you give an exciting setter like Kendra Wait even above average players at Middle and OPP, and you have magic. Creighton can get kills from multiple positions--that's the key.

As far as the team goes, I think that this team is one of the most talented teams Creighton has had, along with the 2016 team and the 2018 team in which Winters/Kloth were seniors. This year's team might have the most depth.
