Yeah she transitioned from a hitter. And she's a senior, but this is only her 2nd year of getting game reps. But she was starting for the Mexican National Team (at setter) 4+ years ago. Yes, but some junior Pan Ams is a different level of play, and still way fewer pressure game reps (than say, a player who came up through the U.S. club system). |

I haven’t seen them play since non-con, has WSU actively regressed through the year? I wrote a bit about this two or so weeks ago, but the tl;dr IMO is that they are similar to Ohio State last year -- - Started out very hot, not because they were THAT good, but because they had a ton of experienced players - Their team was talented enough to out-talent teams early in the season - Never really gelled into a cohesive unit - Other teams developed into cohesive units - The "sum of their parts" for other teams is now caught up to / developed beyond WSU's level re: just having a bunch of talented players on the floor at once |
