jill is one of the those players that truly is a once-in-a-lifetime volleyball player and makes any team she plays on better, but simply bc of her height she unfortunately couldn't get to the next level. It's like a very cruel blip in the universe that feels like an injustice

It’s not that I don’t like Arkansas they are very fun but I think they are a nightmare match up against Nebraska the pressure of being in their first Elite 8. Largest crowd they will have played against and a good block is where I have seen Gillen struggle. I just think it would be an easy win for the Huskers where I think Kentucky having played in Devwny against them before and this season well it would be a closer match.
Would love to be surprised though. Let’s see what happens in set 4.

Jill Gillen is the type of player that the NCAA should be highlighting for this tournament - undersized yet dynamic, NOT highly recruited, NOT on a team that gets hyped to hell and thrown in our face all the time. Can we get a feature on HER rather than whatever the same ole players from Nebraska, Texas, or Wisconsin.... please and thanks. RIGHT! ...but also like I almost selfishly want to keep her hidden and non-distracted by all the Hentz-ville type shenanigans until she goes all the way* Anyways, get her on all the TV screens asap and let her NIL soar like her vertical chile... she can take care of herself! *don't ask me how she and NEB can simultaneously go all the way 😩 |

It's like a blip in the universe THIS seems a a bit much. There have been plenty of ballers in the NCAA that get the job done at a high level despite their size. 'next level' as in pro/olympian. Not ncaa tournament round lol |

The Badgers' trip to Arkansas for a back to back looks bold & daring in retrospect. Jill Gill is capable of causing extreme anxiety for opposing fans. The whole team was a handful for Bucky, that first night. |
