I think the biggest issue is I just can't see a team that relies almost solely on two players to carry them will be able to get past Nebraska. people thought kentucky had a legit shot because they have 5 attackers that can all be really effective at the same time as well as good overall defense, could've been very tough on Nebraska if kentucky showed up imo with Arkansas I just dont think they have enough support around their OHs to beat Nebraska. would be cool if they prove me wrong tho I agree, I don’t see them getting past Nebraska, especially given how Nebraska’s middles looked today. But I think they could make it a very exciting match Yeah agreed to a lot of these points. I could see tonight's match being where ark left everything on the floor and so they might not have much left in them against neb. But I also think neb has been bored/cruising through the tournament so far and, with the exception of a couple of matches this season, hasn't been tested too much. Ark is tested almost every game they play lol. Neb has also never blocked against someone like jill who is such an unorthodox OH so we'll see. Either way I'm excited and hope for some awesome rallies! |

i mean do we really think the neb-ark match-up is completely lopsided? ark is a very defensive and scrappy team...just like neb. Obv neb has the power hitters and height, but i do think this will be an interesting match to say the least. I think ark plays very loose and is USED to fighting through adversity to find a way to win so excited to see how it all plays out It's not but let the Nebraska fans think that lol |

Such a funny way of putting it without acknowledging when those matches happened, where, how long Badgers had played with the team before playing those matches, and what positions they played in. Yeah, I think it's odd that no one recognizes that Wisconsin played the first match against Arkansas in their Orzol outside lineup and then crushed them 75-55 in their actual lineup. One thing I'll say about Nebraska to their credit is how composed they were in that first match. Wisconsin looked like they were going to block them out of the building. I'm pretty sure they had 10 blocks in one early set, either the first or second. But Nebraska took it to 5 and then played well enough to pick up the win. I was so impressed from the freshmen in particular. Also, the win was in Lincoln, while the sweep was in Madison. |

Arkansas is the type of team that can give Nebraska fits. Match their defensive energy and those outsides are tailor-styled to hit against an somewhat undisciplined block like Nebraska's.
Georgia Tech gave Nebraska that match on a silver platter. Nebraska is great against messy teams because they let you beat yourself. If the Arkansas team that played today shows up Saturday, they can definitely win this.

Both would not even get a second look from Nebraska coaches, so here's to a good match! |
