Ugh...unfortunately, not much story or video has surfaced from the media day. Its too bad. I guess we are going to have to wait for practice to start to get any meaningful Wahine news.
A few photos here and there but I haven't seen any interviews from the local media about media day.

I DGAF what you sad hoze say, I just want to see this team compete.
I want Hakas to get tf out of Israel if that’s where she is before the place becomes a war zone as well.
I can’t believe you people haven’t got the complaining out of your system yet. I just know y’all are gonna be so annoying during the regular season.
Do everyone a favor and delete your accounts so we can keep the energy positive for this NEW generation of Wahine
Go Bows! **** the haters!!!

It is not so much that other BWC Teams are getting better, and will challenge the Wahine Team for the BWC Title. But more that, the Wahine Team is moving back to the other BWC Teams. The Wahine Team will be exposed in their Pre-Conference matches. Why Robyn and staff even scheduled the Wahine Team to play Texas is beyond me. The Wahine Team will be totally embarrassed in this match. If the Wahine Team can even reach double digits in any set will be an accomplishment. That is how embarrassing this match will be. I just hope Robyn and staff have a couple of Sports Psychologist talking with the Wahine Players, cause they will need it this year. Cause things could turn really sour rather quickly otherwise. This I will blame on Robyn and staff. Instead of improving the Wahine Team, Robyn and staff is taking the Wahine Team in the opposite direction. SHUTCHODUMASSUP!

This may be one of the smaller Wahine teams but I'm excited to see how they do!

Okay, I try to keep a little objectivity so I have to admit I agree with the first two sentences (only) of this post. The ceiling for this team is probably one win in the Tournament if they make it in. However, I wouldn’t go so far as to blame Robyn and the staff. If Hawai still had Guershing and Leoniak (yeah, you heard that right!) I think they along with Caylen would have given Hawaii the height and attacking power to seriously challenge in a subregional. If it is ever confirmed that these players left because of shortcomings in the staff then I would have to agree with more of the post, but I haven’t seen that yet.

Probably due to lack of deserving players at this late stage or maybe Robyn felt it’s better for the future to hold a scholarship open for someone next season/midyear than to tie it up offering it to a “average” player. One intriguing possibility is that Chalei could play her senior year of HS at Kahuku and then enroll at UH for rhe second semester and start her career as a redshirt in the spring. I think Victoria Leyva did that. She was supposed to be here with Mili and the rest of the gang but she enrolled early at UH and was here for the spring semester after finishing her HS season in the fall. Dang….Maddie lost 3 inches over one year. She was listed as 6-2 on some sites. I hope UH’s information is wrong and she is really over 6-0.

After Paula Guershing left, Robyn and staff had more then enough time to go after players in the Transfer Portal. But instead, devoted all their time to coaching club teams. My question, is Robyn and staff hired to coach club teams, or the Wahine Team. This Wahine Team is not good enough, meaning, not on the par of Top Power 5 teams, that Robyn and staff can get picky when it comes to players. The Wahine Team needs players to even get close to that level of play. The Wahine Team is just one injury away from going down the Rabbit Hole, does Robyn and staff not know that. The Wahine Team players need a Head Coach and staff who will devote all their time and energy into making the Wahine Team better.

Everybody is very big on Hakas, but I personally think she is very overrated, I hope she has improved a lot coming into this season.
Waiting to see how Adeyemi does, very excited about her.

That's really strange... I wonder If that's an error...

koavball said we could expect three new Wahine in the Fall, I wonder if there are three players planning on trying to walk on. Mane and Lane were late additions to the roster after they made the cut following Fall training. I'm guessing we'll see who these three possible are when Fall training begins?

The roster link on the women's volleyball home page is still defaulted to the 2023 page, and getting to the 2024 page requires some navigational tricks or modifying the URL. Hopefully the player heights on the 2024 page are wrong and will be corrected.

Is there a reason why Hawaii fans in particular have a weird obsession with height?
Lol are you all on the shorter side?

Is there a reason why Hawaii fans in particular have a weird obsession with height? Lol are you all on the shorter side? Well people of Hawaii in general are on the short side compared to the continental US. Me, I'm only 5'7.5". My sister is only 5'02", my mom is 4'11"
