One question, how did Maddie Way go from being 6'2 to 5'11, in less then 6 months. Did not realize someone could shrink 3 inches that fast, or even able to shrink.

Roster's up again. The backup middle is Morghn Monahan, 6'3", from HPU. Telefoni is not on the roster. Hmmm, not great for how thin we are at the pins, but Arquette listed at S/OH

With Monahan on the roster, as a Middle, thinking Robyn is looking to move Maddie Way to Opposite.

She definitely has a D1 arm and should absolutely be considered for a hitting position this season.

Still 13 athletes? That's wild.

Still 13 athletes? That's wild. That's one way to describe it. I'd go with "puzzling" or "concerning" or both.

A few 2023 season statistical tidbits about Morghn Monahan:
- She played in 43 sets spread over 14 matches for HPU, which finished the season 5-19. Not sure why she missed ten matches in October and November but it's possible she was injured and had to sit out.
- Her hitting percentage over the course of the season was .203. Her best offensive performance was in the season finale against UH-Hilo when she hit .350 and had 10 kills.
- She had just 37 blocks over the course of the season, or 0.860 blocks per set.

Still wondering what is up with Malinah, guess we’ll see eventually. Maybe we will get some other walk-ons

Mentioned in the 2025 Commits thread, Bows got a commit from Makena Biondi - 6’4” MB. Plays for Agoura HS (California) and Sunshine VBC and has Hawaii connections
Her dad is Matt Biondi, 11-time Olympic swimmer, uncle is Stein Metzger, her older brother went to Saint Francis and played for Spike & Serve.
