IMHO unless someone has posted something offensive like a racist comment or something that goes against VT guidelines, banning someone because we don't like what someone posts or don't agree with what they post shouldn't be an option. If you don't like what someone posts or don't agree with their post just block them or ignore them. Comedian Ricky Gervais did a comedy bit about this very thing: if you pass by the community bulletin board at your local supermarket and see a posting you don't agree with do you stand there with your outrage and point the post out to everyone passing by and try to get the poster banned? Most people would just ignore it and get on with their lives. I suggest some of you do the same. “Not liking what someone says/not agreeing” is not what I’m talking about. I’m specifically talking about spreading false information just for the sake of chaos within the thread. I just don’t see why we need to be subjected to it. And blocks would be better option if they eliminated the persons visibility entirely from view, but It doesn’t. So it’s more “hiding” than blocking. If what you say is true and they are spreading false information for the sake of chaos and it's against VT TOS then yes ban them. If it's not against VT TOS then just ignore/block them. I certainly know who are the people to ignore on here (I don't bother to "block" anyone) and pay them and their comments no mind. When I read through VT I just skip right over those people's comments. If everyone would do the same the thread would be a much more pleasant place and there would be much less bickering.

So it’s more “hiding” than blocking. I agree to this. Intentionally spreading false information does nothing to build productive discussion. So posters should be banned if they continue to do it. Simply tag the mod when they do it. Frankly, doing it also hurts them. For me, archipelago is a good example. He wanted to post every Big West IG post on the Big West thread in last year's men's season. A few posters asked him not to, but his attitude was that he would continue to do it and that if you didn't like, you can block him. So I did. Then, he got into it with a few posters and based on what I read, I might have sided with him. But I wasn't going to dig through a mess of posts that I didn't originally read to figure out what was going on. He felt ganged up on, and frankly, that was his fault because he alienated a number of other posters. Similar to that, if posters troll threads and get blocked by other fans, they have themselves to blame. If they ask questions that no one answers or provide actual insight that no one responds to, it's on them for creating that situation for themselves. Which is why I find it easiest to just block them.

Again, rather than reading what they say and getting yourself all worked up like you are now, just block or ignore them if you don't want to see what they post. No sense getting all worked up over it! Life's too short bro! Take your own advice and block people that want these hateful clowns gone, how about that? They provide absolutely nothing to this site. I’m sorry did I hurt your feelings? Then get TF out of here.

This is so embarrassing. And such a poor representation of Hawaii volleyball and its culture.

This is so embarrassing. And such a poor representation of Hawaii volleyball and its culture. I am a fan of Hawaii but I don’t represent Hawaii. I act on my own terms. Big difference.

Any new leads on the transfer front? Who are the big names at OH besides Lauenstein that might be looking to transfer?

Landfair 2022 was great, but the girl refuses to play defense and I'm sure that's not what RAM is looking for in a player. Hoping Josh Walker puts in a good word. She could fill the role that Wagoner provided next year as an OH/DS. Great passer. Passed like a 2.3 or something crazy.

Maybe even take Akana’s spot at UT. We can always hope but unlikely. As for Landfair, it’s also a dream. I was just throwing the first name came to mind. Yeah, I don’t see Landfair as a fit here.
