My guess is they only need one player so I’m going to assume that UH’s coaches will be picky and wait to see who is available first. Don’t want to offer just anybody and then someone special enters the portal and UH have no money to offer that player.

Is Robyn waiting to see if DK is going to enter the Transfer Portal, before she does anything. Hopefully, Robyn does not wait to long before making a decision, to go after another player in the transfer portal, if DK decides to stay at Texas. Waiting on this one player to make a decision, hopefully will not cost the Wahine team this coming season. Cause right now, this Wahine team does not have any depth at OH/OPP, or Middle positions. God forbid if any of the Starter miss any match time during the season, Robyn and the Wahine team will be in BIG TROUBLE. If this were to occur, all the blame should be put right at the feet of Robyn, for not going after players in the transfer portal to add depth.

That girl hasn't been effective, the current pins for the Wahine would outplay her. RAM wouldn't wait for that.

I think it was a Texas poster that said "scholarships don't matter anymore, if a player is good enough they'll find money for them via NIL." Hawaii doesn't have as much money to give--but I'd have to think if for whatever reason Madisen Skinner wanted to transfer to Hawaii--we have enough boosters that would find the money for her even if we had no open scholies.
That's not to say Robyn can afford to go after every person in the portal, but you'd have to think if a once in a decade type player wanted to transfer to Hawaii--they would find a way.

Also anyone know what Amber's stat line was in Roma's final 2 games? It couldn't find it since I don't speak Italian.

I think the time waiting for DK has come and gone already. She had her chances and declined every time so it's time to move on from her. How about another Paula Guercshing. Someone from a low level D1 program who wants to move up a level and play in a big time environment.
I would rather have someone like Paula than someone who warmed bench at a high level D1 program. Paula has a track record. The other girl...not much. Was definitely hyped coming out of HS but decided warming bench at the other school is preferable to having a productive college volleyball career.

Is collegiate volleyball the only sport where if you don't start you don't even get a seat to warm?

If nothing changes, roster wise, the Wahine Team should still be the favorite to win the BWC and go to the NCAA Tournament. But getting pass the 1st or even the 2nd round will be an extremely BIG Stretch. So I am starting to wonder if Robyn and staff are building the Wahine team to only be able to win the BWC, cause it definitely looks that way.
