Drews to Salt Lake seemed quite likely. It will be nice to finally be able to root for her for a change. And "Fugitiva" is an all-time great nickname.

Kotoe Inoue can go there and reunite with SWP also? Inoue was Kojima's sub at NEC when SWP played there. Dani Drews here only played with Kojima (when Inoue went to Thailand), then both teams can have a NEC reunion

Great! I will support this team!
Kojima will be such a big loss for NEC Red Rockets but it will be fun watching her on a different team. At least she has former NEC teammate Dani Drews and fellow Japan NT Tamaki with her in this team.

Like in college, you can have one or two defensive specialists in addition to your libero because you have enough substitutions for that. But I know the pros have fewer subs.

I think we saw it more in the PVF this past season than you'll see in other pro/international leagues. Partly because they allowed 8 subs instead of the international standard of 6. Also keep in mind that it's not just that they get fewer subs. Each player only gets one entry. So a DS can only go through the back row once per set.

Okay, so practically, we can expect just the libero to play in LOVB most of the time?

But I know the pros have fewer subs. honestly it depends on the team. I would say normally, most teams dress two liberos, using one. some teams will have their main libero and then dress someone they're not going to play (4th middle/oh) as the libero so they can use the reserve libero as a DS. This is what conegliano did with Kathryn Plummer. this is the rarest but some teams will have a libero for passing, another for defense. Kojima has played both of those roles for the Japan national team.

This is what conegliano did with Kathryn Plummer. Worth noting that PVF didn't have this roster restriction. They could dress 13 non-liberos and 1 libero. That made it easier to use a DS as well. I don't know how LOVB is handling this.
