Current Betting odds according to DraftKings Nebraska -198 Pittsburgh +164 implied probability 66% for a nebraska win. anyone know what pablo says? The VT poll on this thread has it close to even with a small Husker advantage. By contrast, VTers are favoring the Badgers by more than 2-1. |

Too funny at the end when their coach is asked what Nebraska has to do to beat them. I don't think I've ever heard that one asked before, perhaps for obvious reasons.
I liked the long pause between the question and answer. You almost could see the wheels turning in Fisher's head like, "How can I answer this in a way that reveals nothing about our scouting, strategy, or possible vulnerabilities?" Rachel and Chiamaka seemed amused by his response : )
Personally I think he was thinking: What kind of dumb A question is this? Then he paused, counted to 10, nixed saying what he really wanted to, and gave a generic answer. Been a lot more interesting if he had not counted to 10 and gave an honest answer, IMO. That was a dumb question asked to get him to react, IMO. He did not. Good job on his part. My overall impression: Pitt is dialed in. |

Nebraska is not Louisville and will not blow a 2-0 lead. I think their freshmen have done the best job all season managing expectation and emotion. They have looked vulnerable up to this point and I do believe Pitt can challenge, my only hope is that it is a good match. Blowouts are no fun but if Pitt wants to make a match of it they cannot wait until the 3rd set to settle in.
Strangely enough Pitts upper classmen have more Final Four experience and should be able to manage expectation and experience better as they have been there before.
The outcome I expect Nebraksa 3-1 the outcome I am hoping for Pitt 3-1 the result that would be most entertaining Pitt 3-2.

Once in a lifetime event for Batenhorst, probably not likely to get 5-6 kills on serve receive overpasses tonight. Batenhorst had 7 kills, 7 errors on 34 attacks for .000 hitting % and zero blocks vs Pittsburgh in 2021 Final Four. Unfortunately, this is probably more likely. |
