Ok Longhorns and Badgers - I'm coming up with a drinking game for both matches. Any suggestions for this match??? I'm hoping to keep it more about the broadcast/environment and not dog on specific players (coaches are different hehe).
I've got some obvious ones already:
- Anytime they mention Smrek's hight
- Elliot yelling at a ref (does Sheffield do this a lot?)
- Jermaine O'Neal mention/sighting
- Asjia O'Neal heart surgery
- Franklin's comeback story
- Anytime you see a horns down
- Explaining basic rules (libero, going to 25, etc.)

she can tool the block all she wants to tonight...as long as she doesn't tomorrow in the game. Jenna hasn't seen a block like the Badger block this season [or ever?]. We'll see how she does.
On the flip-side, Wisconsin had the lowest opponent blocks per set in The BIG; 1.45 opponent bps. The NCAA doesn't offer this stat for comparison.
Add it all up and you have the #1 blocking team in NCAA D1 and the toughest team to block in The BIG. I like it.
There are at least three players on Texas who have played Wisconsin in the past - Skinner, Akana, and Wenaas. Wenaas is the only one of the three who has defeated UW. (I'd have to look to see how she in particular did in her matches against Wisconsin.) |
